BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Anastasia is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Valuation Analyst, and Master Analyst in Financial Forensics with more than fifteen years of experience in business valuation, forensic accounting, litigation consulting, and corporate finance. She has served clients in the U.S., Russia, and the Middle East across a broad range of industries including high-tech manufacturing, Bitcoin mining and hosting, telecommunications, banking, brokerage, oil and gas extraction, real estate, construction, transportation, healthcare, consumer packaged goods, retail and wholesale trade, and travel agencies.
A significant portion of Ms. Bourgeois’ practice includes performing objective, well-founded, and defensible valuations of small and medium-sized closely-held and family-owned businesses for tax compliance, financial reporting, management planning, and litigation support reasons. Specifically, Anastasia performs business valuations for purposes such as estate and gift tax, mergers and acquisitions, transaction analysis, shareholder disputes, divorce, mediation, internal company planning, and buy-sell agreements. Anastasia holds a CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) certification from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), and all valuation engagements are performed in accordance with the Professional Standards of NACVA.
In addition, Anastasia assists clients by calculating economic damages and lost profits in patent infringement, breach of contract, and other litigation matters, as well as insurance claims, fraud investigations, forensic accounting, and other engagements.
